Stamping With Friends Blog Hop - Last Chance List

Time for a Stamping With Friends Blog Hop! The theme today is "Last Chance List". There are so many of my favourites on the Last Chance List. It was hard to decide which card to share with you. I made this card to show off the Magic Embossing Technique which is so fun!

Isn't this a pretty card in Petunia Pop and Basic Black. And it's so easy. I don't have a video for this card, but you can check out the video for a similar card using the same bundle here.

Instructions

Cut Petunia Pop cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Basic Black cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
Cut Basic White 4" x 5 1/4" (this will be trimmed.
Emboss using the Seaside Wishes Embossing Folder.
Use a Blending Brush to add colour to the inside of the sand dollars - I used Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop and Flirty Flamingo.
Now drag the Tuxedo Black ink pad over the embossed texture to colour the non embossed texture black. You can make it as light or dark as you want.
Trim to 3 3/4" x 5"
Adhere to the Basic White cardstock
Adhere to the Basic Black cardstock
Adhere to the card base.
Cut out smallest 6 sided shape from Nested Essentials Dies from Petunia Pop cardstock
Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Petunia Pop In Color Shimmer Gems.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp shape in bottom right corner using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Adhere to inside of card.
