Welcome to our April IDEAS Tutorial Blog Hop! This month our theme is "Fancy Folds". We're sharing fancy folds and in particular masculine cards. Our global team is from Australia, Europe, Canada and the United States. Join me to hop to each designers' blog for sneak peeks of our projects. Here's another masculine fancy fold for your using the Twisted in Time Bundle - a Twisted Gatefold Card. I love how this card turned out in Pecan Pie and Garden Green.

Instructions

Cut Pecan Pie cardstock 5 1/4" x 8 1/4" and score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scorelines using Bone Folder - fold both flaps inwards
Score the left flap diagonally from the top right scoreline to the bottom left corner
Score the right flap diagonally from the top right corner to the bottom left scoreline.
Fold and burnish on diagonal scorelines - fold back on both diagonal scorelines.
Cut Designer Series Paper 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" and then cut in half diagonally from top right to bottom left.
Adhere to the top outside triangle on the left flap and to the bottom outside triangle on the right flap.
Cut Designer Series Paper 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" and then cut in half diagonally from top right to bottom left.
Adhere to the bottom inside triangle on the left flap and to the top inside triangle on the right flap.
Stamp tree branches on Basic White cardstock using Garden Green ink.
Use Blending Brush to add Pecan Pie ink to trunk.
Cut out branch from Pecan Pie using Die
Adhere to tree.
Cut out 4 branches from Garden Green cardstock
Adhere to tree.
Adhere tree to the top triangle on the left flap using Dimensionals.
Cut out lattice from Garden Green cardstock using Die
Cut Basic White cardstock 3/4" x 2"
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Garden Green ink
Adhere to lattice using dimensionals.
Adhere to bottom right flap using dimensionals
Cut Basic White cardstock 2 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Stamp 2 knots in bottom right corner using Garden Green ink
Adhere to the inside of the card.
Adhere Pecan Pie embellishments.
