Festive Friday #183 - National Golf Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project.  We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.


Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge  At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. This week’s challenge FF # 183 - National Golf Day



What would you choose from the Inspo List?  I chose green, twine, frames and happy retirement sentiments.  My card isn't obviously for a golfer but it is for a friend that has recently retired.  I hope she likes it.  I used the Impressions Abloom Bundle and the Gallery Blooms Dies for this card - both are available starting May 6th with the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue and Online Exclusive Release. 



Instructions

  1. Cut Secret Sea cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut Strawberry Slush cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and use to cut out largest frame from Gallery Bloom Dies.
  4. Adhere frame to Basic White cardstock
  5. Adhere to card base.
  6. Stamp sentiment in frame using Secret Sea ink.
  7. Stamp 3 flowers on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  8. Colour with Stampin' Write Markers - Strawberry Slush, Bubble Bath and Soft Seafoam.
  9. Cut out using Die
  10. Wrap Twine around hand 2-3 times and adhere behind one of the flowers.
  11. Adhere flowers around frame using Dimensionals.
  12. Adhere Strawberry Slush Embellishments.
  13. Colour flowers using Wink of Stella.
  14. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  15. Stamp flowers in bottom right corner
  16. Colour over flowers using Strawberry Slush ink using Blending Brush.
