Welcome to our March IDEAS Tutorial Blog Hop! This month our theme is "Using Scraps in Fun Ways". We're sharing projects that feature scrappy cards. A great way to use up some of your stash of cardstock and Designer Series Paper. Our global team is from Australia, Europe, Canada and the United States. Here's another scrappy project I made using the same Designer Series Paper. This time a sunburst card! Isn't it pretty!

Instructions

Cut Basic Black cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form cards base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper in various widths from 1/2" to 1 1/4" - all about 6-8" long.
Cut each piece in half on the diagonal.
Apply glue to Designer Series Paper and adhere to card base with the point approximately in the middle.
Repeat until Basic White cardstock is covered with triangles.
Trim off excess Designer Series Paper and then trim to 3 3/4" x 5"
Adhere to Basic Black cardstock
Punch out circle from Basic Black cardstock using 2" Circle Punch
Punch out circle from Basic White cardstock using 1 3/4" Circle Punch
Stamp sentiment at top of Basic White circle using Pumpkin Pie ink
Adhere to Basic Black circle
Trim off to make semi-circle
Adhere to bottom of sunburst covering the points using dimensionals.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere one of the pieces of Designer Series Paper to the right side of the Basic White cardstock
Adhere to inside of card.
Adhere Sunny Day Iridescent Dots to card base.
