Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Wishing for Spring

Today I'm hopping other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. The theme this month is "Wishing for Spring". The Floral Delight Suite in the Stampin' Up! Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue reminders me of spring so it is a perfect choice for this theme!

Check out this pretty quilted card I made. I love this card - it combines my love of quilting and my love of weaving with my love of card making! Thanks to my friend Joey who shared this technique with my Ink and Paper Stampers Team in January!

Instructions

Cut Pool Party cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Daffodil Delight cardstock 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to Daffodil Delight cardstock
Emboss using the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder.
Adhere to card base.
Cut Pool Party cardstock 3" x 3"
Cut 4 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 6"
Lightly draw lines across Pool Party cardstock on each diagonal.
Weave the Designer Series Paper pieces together and adhere along the diagonal lines.
Time off excess.
Cut 4 pieces of Pool Party cardstock 3/4" x 3/4"
Adhere in the 4 corners
Emboss using Star Struck Embossing Folder.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Stamp "wishing" using Old Olive ink on Basic White cardstock.
Stamp "you a Happy Birthday" on Basic White cardstock
Cut both sentiments out using Dies.
Adhere to card base using Mini Dimensionals.
Adhere Tiny Bee Trinket
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere Designer Series Paper to right side of Basic White cardstock.
Adhere to the inside of the card.
