Fun Folds Blog Hop - February 2025

Today is my first time participating in the Fun/Fancy Folds Blog Hop. We are a group of Demonstrators from around the world that love to share what they love. I hope you enjoy and are inspired by the talents of the Demonstrators who participate!

I made this easel fold card using a "Flip Flap" from the Stampin' Up! Scrapbooking Brochure. These were created for memory keeping, but I love them for cards, especially shaker cards! You can check out the instructions below and the video tutorial to get all of the details.

The card lays flat for mailing.

Instructions

Cut Night of Navy cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4".
Fold and burnish on scorelines using Bone Folder - in mountain/mountain configuration.
Cut Designer Series Paper 2" x 4 3/8"
Adhere to bottom flap of card base.
Cut Gold Foil 3" x 3 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 2 3/4" x 3"
Adhere to Gold Foil.
Use Embossing Buddy on Designer Series Paper
Use Embossing Buddy on the inside of a 3" x 3" Flip Flap
Insert the Gold Foil part way into the Flip Flip so that the adhesive seal can be sealed on the back and apply Stampin' Seal to the top edge. If you watch my video, I did this wrong!
Insert all the way to bottom, but do not close the flip flap.
Pour Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix into Flip Flap.
Seal.
Fold over the adhesive strip and seal
Adhere to the bottom flap of card base using Dimensionals. When easel fold is made, this will stick up half way.
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Night of Navy ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to the Flip Flap
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere ephemera pieces to Basic White cardstock using Dimensionals to create a "stop" to keep easel in place when the card is open.
Adhere Pool Party Dots
