Festive Friday Challenge #178 - National Pink Shirt Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This week’s challenge FF #178 - National Pink Shirt Day

What would you choose from the Inspo List? I chose pink, glossy dots and works of encouragement/kindness for this fun card featuring the Meant to Bee Bundle. Check out the sentiment! I used the Black Stampin' Write Marker to add the "E!" to the end of the "Be Brave" sentiment from the Umbrella Days Stamp Set.

Does this bee look familiar? Yep, Stampin' Up! has released a new bundle called Meant to Bee along with Cute as a Bee Designer Series Paper in the Scrapbooking Brochure! Love the new colours and the dies to cut out 2 sizes of bee plus other goodies.

Instructions

Cut Pretty in Pink cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Petunia Pop cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Adhere to Petunia Pop cardstock.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Cut out hexagon from Basic White cardstock using smallest hexagon die
Cut out hexagon from Petunia Pop cardstock using second smallest hexagon die
Stamp "bee trail" on Basic White hexagon using Pool Party ink
Stamp sentiment on bottom of Basic White hexagon using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Add an "E!" at the end of "Be" in the sentiment using the Black Stampin' Write Marker.
Adhere to the Petunia Pop hexagon using Dimensionals
Adhere to the card base.
Stamp a bee on Basic White cardstock using Daffodil Delight ink.
Stamp stripes and face on bee using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Stamp antenna on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Stamp wings using Pool Party ink on Basic White cardstock
Cut out pieces using Die.
Adhere wings and antennae to back of bee
Adhere to hexagon using Dimensionals.
Adhere Pretty in Pink dots.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4"
Adhere to bottom of Basic White cardstock
Adhere to inside of card.
