Technique Tuesday Blog Hop - Stampin' Write Marker Techniques

Time for another Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. This month our theme is "Stampin' Write Markers". It's time to pull out your markers and give them some love!

I had fun making this pretty card using the Spotlight on Nature Bundle and the Full of Life Designer Series Paper. Instead of grabbing my Stampin' Blends I coloured the images using my markers. You can add extra colour to your images by doing some highlighting with a different colour. For the flowers I used Peach Pie and Petunia Pop.

Instructions

Cut Peach Pie cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form cardbase.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut 3 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1" x 5"
Adhere to Basic White cardstock.
Cut Peach Pie cardstock 1" x 4" and adhere horizontally across card base about 1 1/2" from bottom.
Cut out circle using 2nd largest Spotlight on Nature Die from Peach Pie cardstock.
Stamp flower using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Colour using Stampin' Write Markers - Peach Pie, Petunia Pop and Lost Lagoon.
Cut out using Paper Snips.
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to card base using Mini Dimensionals.
Tie a small bow with Peach Pie ribbon and adhere to flower using Glue Dot.
Adhere embellishments.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to right side of Basic White cardstock.
Adhere to inside of card.
