Stamping with Friends Blog Hop - Step Cards
Time for a Stamping With Friends Blog Hop! We are starting 2025 with a technique - making step cards! It was fun to pull out the Terrific Toadstools Bundle from the upcoming Jan to Apr Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue and make a bright and cheery card to start the year!
Sometimes step cards can feel intimidating, but hopefully with my video and template, it will help you get started!

Instructions
- Cut Basic Black cardstock 4 1/4" x 11".
- Cut and score the cardstock as per the template below
- Fold the cardstock in mountain, valley, mountain, mountain configuration starting at the 1" scoreline.
- Burnish the scorelines using Bone Folder.
- Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper (Pattern 1) 3/4" x 4 1/4"
- Adhere to the left and right sections of card base.
- Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4" (Pattern 2) and adhere to the bottom section of the card base.
- Cut Designer Series Paper 2" x 4 1/4" and adhere to the middle section.
- Stamp 2 large toadstool caps and 2 medium sized toadstool cards in Peach Pie ink. Repeat using Melon Mambo Ink.
- Stamp 4 stems using Pebbled Path ink.
- Punch all pieces out.
- Adhere caps to card base using Dimensionals.
- Adhere stems to card base using Glue and Mini Dimensionals.
- Wrap ribbon around bottom of card base and tie a knot
- Stamp sentiment using Melon Mambo ink
- Cut out using Paper Snips
- Adhere to the top of the card using Dimensionals.
- Adhere embellishments
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 4 1/4"
- Stamp toadstool cap using Peach Pie and stem using Pebbled Path.
- Adhere to the inside of the card.
