Stamping With Friends Blog Hop - 2025 Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue

Time for a Stamping With Friends Blog Hop!  This time our theme is the Jan to Apr Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue.  One of my favourite bundles is For the Books. 

It was so fun to make this card for a recent swap with other Demonstrators.  Can you see the adorable little tassel on my book!  So easy with the Die in the bundle!


Instructions

  1. Cut Copper Clay cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Night of Navy cardstock 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
  3. Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
  4. Stamp sentiment in top right corner of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  5. Stamp 2 sets of stacked books in bottom right corner of Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  6. Colour using Stampin' Blends - Copper Clay, Wild Wheat and Night of Navy.
  7. Punch out circle from Night of Navy cardstock using 2 3/8" Circle Punch.
  8. Adhere to card base in bottom right corner.
  9. Cut out book from Copper Clay cardstock using Die.
  10. Cut out book mark and pages from Wild Wheat cardstock using Dies
  11. Cut out tassel from Night of Navy cardstock using Die.
  12. Adhere pages and bookmark to book.
  13. Curl Night of Navy cardstock using Bone Folder and then add a Glue Dot to one end.  
  14. Cut 2" of Gold Thread and fold in half.  Attach to Glue Dot.
  15. Use piercing tool to roll the piece into a tassel.
  16. Adhere tassel to book using a Glue Dot.
  17. Attach thread to back of book using a Dimensional.
  18. Adhere book to circle using Dimensionals.
  19. Adhere Antique Pearls
  20. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  21. Stamp stack of books in bottom right corner and colour using Stampin' Blends - Copper Clay, Wild Wheat and Night of Navy.
  22. Adhere to inside of card.
