Sneak Peek - Storybook Garden Patch


When I saw the Storybook Moments Suite in the Stampin' Up! Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue, it immediately took me back to my childhood with memories of reading Peter Rabbit.  The images as so whimsical and fun!  

I created this fun card with images from the Storybook Garden Patch Bundle that is part of the suite.  It was fun to colour the images with my Stampin' Blends and think back to the stories I read.


Instructions

  1. Cut Copper Clay cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Petal Pink cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
  4. Emboss Basic White cardstock using Plaster Paint 3D Embossing Folder.
  5. Adhere to card base.
  6. Cut out frame from Copper Clay cardstock.
  7. Adhere to card base.
  8. Stamp 2 pot images, 3 cabbages and 1 watering can on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
  9. Colour using Stampin' Blends - Copper Clay for the pots, Smoky Slate for the Watering Can and Old Olive for the cabbages.
  10. Cut out using Dies.
  11. Colour around white space of images using Light Crumb Cake Ink.
  12. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
  13. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  14. Cut out using Paper Snips.
  15. Cut 3" of ribbon and fold in half.
  16. Adhere to the back of the sentiment.
  17. Adhere to card base using a Dimensionals.
  18. Adhere Antique Pearls.
  19. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  20. Stamp watering can in bottom right corner using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
  21. Adhere to inside of card.
