Festive Friday Challenge # 177 - Valentine's Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This week’s challenge FF #177 - Valentine's Day

What would you choose from the Inspo List? I chose pink, red, gold, hearts, and love sentiment for this pretty card featuring the Hearts of Elegance Suite.

Interesting background, right? I used Embossing Paste to create it. Just apply a thin layer over the cardstock and let it dry to get a plaster effect.

Instructions

Cut Real Red cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Petal Pink cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Real Red cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Apply a thin layer of Embossing Paste over Real Red cardstock using Palette Knife. Let dry.
Adhere to Petal Pink cardstock
Adhere to card base.
Cut out 3 hearts using dies from Gold Foil and Basic White cardstock.
Wrap Twisted Gold Thread around palm of hand 3-4 times. Pinch in the middle and remove.
Adhere to card base in bottom right corner.
Adhere hearts over thread using Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere over hearts using Dimensionals
Adhere Gold Heart Embellishments.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp heart in bottom right corner using Real Red ink
Adhere to inside of card.
