IDEAS Blog Hop - December 2024 - We're cut out to be friends!

Welcome to our December IDEAS Tutorial Blog Hop! This month our theme is "We're cut out to be friends". We're sharing projects that feature Our global team is from Australia, Europe, Canada and the United States. Join me to hop to each designers' blog for sneak peeks of our projects. Our Tutorial has 13 demonstrator designers with over 26+ projects from various countries around the world. The December 2024 IDEAS Tutorial Bundle has detailed instructions, colour photography, and tips. My project in the tutorial features an Easel Card using the Seasons of Elegance Suite.

Here is a sneak peek of my project in the tutorial - I an Easel card with a pop up using Partial Die Cutting.

Here's another Partial Die Cutting Project for you made using the Sentimental Wishes Bundle along with the Spotlight on Nature Dies. Once you get the hang of partial die cutting it's so fun!

Instructions

Cut Cherry Cobbler cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on 4 1/4" scoreline to form card base.
Open the card base and position the 2nd largest Circle die From Spotlight on Nature so it is in the middle of the card base and the 2 1/8" scoreline is in the middle of the die.
To cut the part of the circle that pops open, position the top cutting plate along the scoreline on the right side of the card base and run through Stampin' Cut n' Emboss Machine. Watch my YouTube Video for more tips and tricks.
Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1 7/8" x 5 1/4".
Adhere to left flap of card base
Cut out a circle using a smaller die from Spotlight on Nature Dies from Basic White cardstock.
Stamp sentiment on circle and adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere other piece of Designer Series Paper to right side of Basic White cardstock.
Adhere to inside of card.
Stamp candles on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Colour using Stampin' Blends - Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight.
Cut out using die
Adhere to circle
Adhere embellishments
