Creativity Abounds Blog Hop - December 2024 - Birthdays

Time for another Creativity Abounds Blog Hop! We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire you to make creations of your own. You may be starting here or you may have come from someone else's blog - either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed - so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin' Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin' Up!® teams.

This month we're sharing birthday projects! It was fun to pull out one of the new Online Exclusives - Cake Celebrations and make a pretty and very feminine birthday card! Isn't this pretty in Pretty in Pink and Soft Seafoam! Can you spot a couple of sneak peeks from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue! Pretty Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper and Party Dots - you'll be able to add those to your order starting on January 7th!

Instructions

Cut Pretty in Pink 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (21 cm x 14.9 cm) and score at 4 1/4" (10.5 cm). Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Soft Seafoam cardstock 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" (8.8 cm x 11.9 cm)
Cut Designer Series Paper using 2nd largest Postage Rectangle Die.
Adhere Designer Series Paper to Soft Seafoam cardstock
Adhere to card base.
Cut out 2 pieces of Pretty in Pink cardstock using cake layer dies.
Stamp cake platter using Smoky Slate ink and cut out using Die.
Cut out 2 frosting pieces from Basic White cardstock using Dies.
Cut out banner from Pretty in Pink cardstock using Die.
Adhere cake plate to card base using Dimensionals.
Adhere frosting to layers
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Adhere banner.
Stamp sentiment using Pretty in Pink ink on Basic White cardstock.
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to cake using Dimensionals.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" (10 cm x 14.4 cm)
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4" (2 cm x 10 cm)
Adhere to bottom of Basic White cardstock
Adhere to inside of card.
