Poised Peony - Definitely Pretty in Pink!

Check out this gorgeous Peony in Pretty in Pink! Peonies are one of my favourite flowers - I have one in my back yard this close to this colour!

The Poised Peony Stamp Set is from the Stampin' Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue and is so versatile with some great sentiments. Did you find it? It's on page 28!

I paired some layers of Designer Series Paper from Unbounded Beauty with embossed cardstock for this card. So easy!

Instructions

Cut Pretty in Pink cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1 3/8" x 4" and adhere to the top and bottom of the Basic White cardstock - align with the top and bottom.
Cut Pretty in Pink cardstock 2 1/4" x 4" and emboss using the Fern Embossing Folder.
Adhere to the middle of the Basic White cardstock - leaving a gap between it and the Designer Series Paper pieces.
Cut Basic White cardstock 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Stamp peony on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Colour using Pretty in Pink Stampin' Blends and Soft Seafoam Stampin' Blends
Cut Pretty in Pink cardstock 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Adhere stamped piece to Pretty in Pink cardstock
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 2"
Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on one end of the piece.
Cut Banner end in the other end.
Cut Pretty in Pink cardstock 3/4" x 2 1/4"
Cut banner end in right end
Adhere sentiment to Pretty in Pink cardstock using Dimensionals.
Adhere to card base.
Adhere Pretty ink Pink Embellishments.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp small flower in bottom right corner using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Colour using Pretty in Pink Stampin' Blends and Soft Seafoam Stampin' Blends
Adhere to inside of card.
Colour the Peony using Wink of Stella and let dry.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options - in person or by mail.

In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.

By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.

The October kit will use the Artful Amaryllis Stamp Set - from the September to December Mini Catalogue!
