It's been a long time since I scrapbooked, but I have been inspired by the amazing new scrapbooking line from Stampin' Up!. Each Monday I will be sharing a new layout with you and then on Monday night at 6:30pm Pacific, I will be live with a layout. I hope it will inspire you to get back to memory keeping.

I'm excited to create a page or two to tell a story rather than thinking I have to scrapbook an entire trip or year of my life or someone's life. That is so daunting. Pick a few pictures from a recent event and relive it by creating a page or two!

Check out this double layout I made with pictures from the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip in May to the Xcaret Mexico Resort (required disclaimer - less than 1% of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators earn the Incentive Trip each year). It was so fun to go on the trip with my sister and spend time with fellow demonstrators. The colour of the resort and the Caribbean Sea inspired this double layout.

I was inspired by the colour of the sky and pools and the colour of the stones in the pictures I chose so I chose Blueberry Bushel and Smoky Slate for my layouts. The Country Lace Designer Series Paper and the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper for my layouts and of course the Seaside Wishes Bundle seemed a perfect pairing.

Instructions

Cut Smoky Slate Designer Series Paper 4" x 12" and tear a strip off one edge.
Use a Blending Brush to apply Smoky Slate ink to the torn edge.
Cut Blueberry Bushel Designer Series Paper 4" x 12"
Adhere Blue Berry Bushel about 2" from left side of a piece of Willow White 12" x 12" cardstock
Adhere the torn piece of Smoky Slate Designer Series Paper aligned with the left edge over the Blueberry Bushel paper.
Cut a second pattern of Smoky Slate Designer Series Paper 1 1/2" x 12"
Adhere to the right side of the Willow White cardstock
Repeat for the second page, but adhere the pieces on to the opposite sides.
Adhere Adhesive Foam sheet to the back of Blueberry Bushel cardstock.
Cut out your title using the Alphabet Ala Mode Dies.
Cut 6 pictures to 4" x 4"
Cut 6 pieces of Smoky Slate cardstock 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"
Adhere pictures to Smoky Slate cardstock
Adhere 2 to one page and 4 to the other page using Dimensionals.
Adhere the title letters to the left page.
Apply the 3 "stone" stamps to a block and stamp around pictures using Smoky Slate ink stamped off.
Emboss and cut out 6 sand dollars using Dies and Embossing Folder.
Apply Smoky Slate ink to the sand dollars
Cut out 4 detailed sand dollars from Blueberry Bushel cardstock using Dies.
Adhere Smoky Slate and Blueberry Bushel Sand Dollars around pictures.
Don't forget to journal - I haven't done that on these pages yet!

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options - in person or by mail.

In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.

By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.

The October kit will use the Artful Amaryllis Stamp Set - from the September to December Mini Catalogue!

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.

This month the club features the Regal Flora Bundle from the Stampin' Up! September to December Mini Catalogue.

You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Regal Winter Designer Series Paper, 1/2 packaged of Regal Distressed Specialty Designer Series Paper and a package of Regal Foil Dots. Cost is $55 In Person (or local pick up) and $60 mailed or you can get for free without the product above with a minimum $45 order!

You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.
