Welcome to our October IDEAS Tutorial Blog Hop! This month our theme is "Christmas Crafting". Our global team is from Australia, Europe, Canada and the United States. Join me to hop to each designers' blog for sneak peeks of our projects. The collage below has a tiny peek of each designers' project!

Our Tutorial has 13 demonstrator designers with over 26+ projects from various countries around the world. The October 2024 IDEAS Tutorial Bundle has detailed instructions, colour photography, and tips. My project in the tutorial features the Reindeer Fun Suite.

Here is a sneak peek of my project in the tutorial - I created a Smash Book and coordinating Card featuring the A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper and Joyous Sayings Ephemera Pack.

Christmas crafting is my favourite kind of crafting! Check out this fun card featuring the Reindeer Fun Suite. I created this card as part of my weekly Sketch Challenge. Here's the sketch that I used.

Now, here's the card I created.

Instructions

Cut Real Red cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper (Pattern 1) 3 1/2" x 4".
Adhere to the Basic White cardstock.
Cut Designer Series Paper (Pattern 2) 1 1/2" x 3"
Adhere to the right side of the Basic White cardstock
Cut Basic White cardstock 2 1/2" x 3 1/2".
Emboss using the Forever Plaid embossing folder.
Adhere to the Basic White cardstock.
Cut Real Red cardstock 1 1/2" x3"
Emboss using the Forever Plaid embossing folder.
Adhere to the Basic White cardstock.
Wrap Real Red & White Bakers Twine around cardstock and tie a bow on left side.
Adhere to the card base.
Cut out 2 deer and Christmas tree from Designer Series Paper.
Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals.
Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 4"
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink.
Cut into 2 pieces.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Peppermint Embellishments
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Stamp tree in bottom right corner using Real Red ink
Adhere to the inside of the card.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options - in person or by mail.

In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.

By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.

The November kit will use the Artful Amaryllis Stamp Set - from the September to December Mini Catalogue!

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.

This month the club features the Season of Elegance from the Stampin' Up! September to December Mini Catalogue.

Add the Peaceful Evergreens or Peaceful Season to your kit and your class is free!

You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Season of Elegance Designer Series Paper, 2 rows of each size of Adhesive Backed Gold Textured Embellishments and the Painted Trees Embossing Folder. Cost is $55 In Person (or local pick up) and $60 mailed or you can get for free without the product above with a minimum $45 order!

You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.
