Festive Friday Challenge #170 - Halloween

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This week’s challenge FF #170 - Halloween

What would you choose from the Inspo List? I chose black, orange, and die cuts for this fun Faux Step Fold card featuring the Stampin' Up! Potions & Spells Bundle and Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper. I love how this card turned out.

Instructions

Cut Basic Black cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 1", 2" and 5 1/4" along 8 1/2" side.
Fold in mountain, valley, mountain configuration and use Bone Folder to burnish the scorelines.
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to first flap.
Cut Designer Series Paper 3" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the 3rd flap.
Cut Basic Black cardstock 3" x 8 1/2". Score at 4 1/4".
Fold and burnish on scoreline using a Bone Folder.
Adhere to the card base on the right hand slide - adhere on the first flap only and then on the back of the card.
Stamp cauldron and cat on Smoky Slate cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Cut out using Dies.
Use Blending Brush to apply Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to the die cuts.
Stamp bubbles on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Colour using Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends.
Colour around the bubbles using Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to the back of the cauldron using Dimensionals
Adhere cauldron to right hand side of card base using Dimensionals
Cut out broom pieces using dies from Pecan Pie cardstock and Crumb Cake Cardstock
Adhere together using a Glue dot.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere cat to card base using Dimensionals
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Cut out using Paper Snips - cut into 2 pieces.
Adhere to card base using Mini Dimensionals.
Adhere Purple Shimmer Gems to card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 3" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to bottom of Basic White cardstock
Adhere to inside of card.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options - in person or by mail.

In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.

By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.

The October kit will use the Artful Amaryllis Stamp Set - from the September to December Mini Catalogue!

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.

This month the club features the Season of Elegance from the Stampin' Up! September to December Mini Catalogue.

Add the Peaceful Evergreens or Peaceful Season to your kit and your class is free!

You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Season of Elegance Designer Series Paper, 2 rows of each size of Adhesive Backed Gold Textured Embellishments and the Painted Trees Embossing Folder. Cost is $55 In Person (or local pick up) and $60 mailed or you can get for free without the product above with a minimum $45 order!

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.
