Welcome to our September IDEAS Tutorial Blog Hop! This month our theme is "Family Celebrations". Our global team is from Australia, Europe, Canada and the United States. Join me to hop to each designers' blog for sneak peeks of our projects. The collage below has a tiny peek of each designers' project!

Our Tutorial has 13 demonstrator designers with over 26+ projects from various countries around the world. The September 2024 IDEAS Tutorial Bundle has detailed instructions, colour photography, and tips. My project in the tutorial features the Sketched Butterflies Bundle along with the Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper for a pretty Birthday Card.

Here's another Birthday project for you featuring the Attention Shoppers Bundle. I played with another passion of mine - weaving. The background is woven strips of the Full of Life Designer Series Paper.

Instructions

Cut Berry Burst cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Cut strips of Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 6" - you will need 12-13 of them.
Start weaving with strips - I placed the vertical strips on and folded over the top about 1/2" and adhere to back. Then weave in the horizontal strips.
To finish, fold over all edges and adhere to back.
Adhere to Basic White cardstock (4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to card base.
Punch circle from Berry Burst using 2" Circle Punch.
Stamp 2 shopping bags on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Colour using Stampin' Blends - Blueberry Bushel, Berry Burst and Daffodil Delight.
Cut out using Die.
Apply Berry Burst ink from Stampin' Write Marker (not Stampin' Blend) to wave on Cake Stamp. Stamp on bag. Repeat with other back
Adhere to circle using Dimensionals
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 1 3/4"
Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Cut Berry Burst cardstock 3/4" x 2"
Adhere sentiment to Berry Burst cardstock using Dimensionals
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Iridescent Faceted Gems.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp bag image in bottom right corner using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Adhere to inside of card.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options - in person or by mail.

In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.

By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.

The October kit will use the Sweetest Star Bundle - from the September to December Mini Catalogue!

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.

This month the club features the Humble Home from the Stampin' Up! September to December Mini Catalogue.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.
