Festive Friday Challenge Blog Hop - National Dessert Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This week’s challenge FF #169 - National Dessert Day

What would you choose from the Inspo List? I chose Pink, Brown, Desserts and Food Related Sentiment. It was so easy with the More Than Autumn Bundle from the Stampin' Up! Sep to Dec Mini Catalogue. Such a fun bundle!

Check out my card. Isn't it pretty! And this is such a fun technique where you colour in the negative space. I shared a card a week ago using this technique with the Sweet Peas Stamp Set. I had to play with it again! You can check that card out here.

Instructions

Cut Crumb Cake cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Bubble Bath cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Stamp donut image on Basic White cardstock randomly on and off of the cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Colour the outside of the donut on the right side with Dark Bubble Bath Stampin' Blends.
Colour the remainder of the negative space (not inside the images) using Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.
Adhere to Bubble Bath cardstock.
Adhere to card base.
Cut out "Nothing's Better Than" from Early Espresso cardstock using Die.
Adhere to Bubble Bath cardstock and trim around shape using Paper Snips.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Stamp "Doughnuts" on Bubble Bath cardstock using Early Espresso ink.
Cut out using Paper Snips.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere embellishments.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp doughnut in bottom right corner using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Colour using Light and Dark Stampin' Blends
Adhere to inside of card.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options - in person or by mail.

In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.

By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.

The September kit will use the Sweetest Star Stamp Set - from the September to December Mini Catalogue!

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.

This month the club features the Season of Elegance from the Stampin' Up! September to December Mini Catalogue.

Add the Peaceful Evergreens or Peaceful Season to your kit and your class is free!

You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Season of Elegance Designer Series Paper, 2 rows of each size of Adhesive Backed Gold Textured Embellishments and the Painted Trees Embossing Folder. Cost is $55 In Person (or local pick up) and $60 mailed or you can get for free without the product above with a minimum $45 order!

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.
