Technique Tuesday Blog Hop - Collage or Retiform

Time for another Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. This month our theme is "Collage or Retiform". I did the Collage Technique which is so fun!

I used the Spotlight on Nature Bundle for my cards. It's perfect for collage techniques.

Instructions

Cut Pecan Pie cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form cardbase.
Cut Coastal Cabana cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Use Embossing Buddy on Basic White cardstock
Stamp Leaves on Basic White cardstock using Versamark.
Sprinkle with White Embossing Folder.
Heat to melt and let dry.
Colour using Crumb Cake ink with Blending Brush.
Let dry completely.
Use Embossing Buddy on Basic White cardstock
Stamp butterfly using Versamark
Sprinkle with White Embossing Folder.
Heat to melt and let dry.
Colour using Coastal Cabana ink with Blending Brush.
Colour using Peach Pie ink with Blending Brush.
Stamp crosshatch using Pecan Pie ink stamped off
Stamp splatter with Peach Pie ink stamped off
Trim Basic White cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5"
Adhere to Coastal Cabana cardstock
Adhere to card base.
Cut Linen Thread 15" and zig zag on card base
Cut Pecan Pie cardstock 3/4" x 2"
Stamp sentiment using Pecan Pie ink
Cut banner ends in both ends
Adhere to card base over Thread using Dimensionals
Adhere Pecan Pie embellishments
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp leaves in bottom right corner using Pecan Pie ink
Adhere to inside of card.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options - in person or by mail.

In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.

By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.
