Summer Fun with Happiest Day Stamp Set

Yesterday I participated in an Instahop with a theme Summer Fun and I made this fun Buckle card using the Stampin' Up! Happiest Day Stamp Set. When I see a dragonfly I think of summer - it's usually August in the heat when I start to see them where I live.

Isn't this fun in Peach Pie and Smoky Slate!

Instructions

Cut Smoky Slate cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 1 1/2" and 5 3/4". Fold and burnish on scorelines using Bone Folder folding both of the flaps inwards to form card base.
Cut Smoky Slate Designer Series Paper 1 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Cut out 2nd largest tag from Greetings of the Season Dies from Peach Pie cardstock
Score at 1/2" from edge with hole in it.
Fold and burnish on scoreline and adhere to the small flap of card base aligned with scoreline.
Adhere Designer Series Paper over Peach Pie cardstock.
Cut Peach Pie Designer Series Paper 2 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to larger flap.
Stamp 2 dragonflies on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Stamp wings using Peach Pie ink and Smoky Slate ink.
Cut out using Paper Snips.
Adhere to buckle using Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to buck using Dimensionals.
Adhere Peach Pie embellishments
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp dragonfly in bottom right corner using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Stamp wings using Peach Pie ink and Smoky Slate ink.
Adhere to the inside of the card.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options - in person or by mail.

In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.

By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.

The August kit will use the Wintry Tree Tops - a new product from the September to December Mini Catalogue!

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.
