Festive Friday Challenge - Back to School
It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.
Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This week’s challenge FF #166 - Back to School
I used yellow, black and white for my card. Loved the sentiment of "Best Friend" for going back to school! As a kid it was my favourite time of the year. I couldn't wait to see my best friends that I'd missed over the summer!
Instructions
- Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
- Cut Azure Afternoon cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut Basic Black cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
- Cut Basic White cardstock 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
- Adhere Basic White cardstock to Basic Black cardstock.
- Adhere to Azure Afternoon cardstock.
- Adhere to card base.
- Cut Designer Series Paper 2 1/2" x 4 3/4"
- Adhere to card base.
- Cut Basic White cardstock 1" x 2"
- Stamp "BEST" on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
- Cut out wide "friend" from Daffodil Delight cardstock using Die.
- Cut out narrow "friend" from Basic Black cardstock using Die
- Adhere narrow "friend" to Daffodil Delight "friend" - don't lose the "dot" over the 'i"!
- Adhere to card base using Mini Dimensionals.
- Adhere "best" over "friend" using Dimensionals
- Adhere embellishments
- Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4"
- Adhere to the bottom of the inside of the card.

Christmas Stamp a Stack
Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.
Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).
Sign up for the full 5 months and you'll receive $25 in product of your choice.
Two options - in person or by mail.
- In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.
- By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.
Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.
The September kit will use the Wintry Tree Tops Stamp Set - from the September to December Mini Catalogue!
Monthly Card Club
I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.
This month the club features the Humble Home from the Stampin' Up! September to December Mini Catalogue.

You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper, package of Earth Tones Shimmer Gems and 1/2 pkg of Natural Tones Linen Thread. Cost is $55 In Person (or local pick up) and $60 mailed or you can get for free without the product above with a minimum $45 order!
You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.
The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.

Your Creativity Awaits Kit Timelines
- The upcoming kit information including supplies needed will be announced by the 15th of the previous month
- Sign up must be done by the 2nd Sunday of the month
- Kits will be shipped and tutorials emailed out by the 4th Tuesday of the month (subject to unforeseen delays in the shipment of product from Stampin’ Up!)
