Technique Tuesday Blog Hop - Simple Stamping

Time for another Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. This month our theme is "Simple Stamping". Ink, Paper and stamps!

I always struggle with simple stamping, but when I finished, I always love the result! For my card today, I pulled out a technique I haven't used in a long time - stamping with a clear block. Check out this pretty card featuring the Spotlight on Nature Stampset from the 2024-2026 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. I love how it turned out!

Instructions

Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Gorgeous Grape cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Ink up Block H using Highland Heather ink. Spritz with water using Stampin' Spritzer.
Stamp on Basic White cardstock.
Let dry.
Stamp over Highland Heather ink with flower stamped inked up with Gorgeous Grape ink.
Stamp sentiment in bottom right corner of Basic White cardstock using Gorgeous Grape ink.
Adhere to Gorgeous Grape cardstock.
Adhere to card base.
Adhere Iridescent Facted Gems.
Stamp cross hatch image in bottom right corner of inside of card using Gorgeous Grape ink.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options - in person or by mail.

In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.

By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.

The August kit will use the Filled With Cheer Stamp Set - a new Online Exclusive!

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.
