Festive Friday #163 - Teddy Bears Picnic

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. This week’s challenge FF #163 - Teddy Bear Picnic Day

For my card I chose pastel colours, twine and texture and I used the new Changing Leaves Bundle - part of the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusives just released. I love hybrid embossing folders and that's what this bundle includes. I created a watercolour background using Soft Seafoam, Basic Beige and Lost Lagoon Reinkers and then embossed it once it was dry. I love to play with watercolour backgrounds! Check out this stunning one!

Instructions

Cut Soft Seafoam cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline to form card base using Bone Folder.
Mix up reinkers with water (Soft Seafoam, Basic Beige and Lost Lagoon).
Spritz the Fluid 100 paper with water and then apply colours starting with the Soft Seafoam and progressing through Lost Lagoon.
Apply spatter using Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends.
Dry using Heat Tool
Once dry, emboss using Embossing Folder.
Trim to 4" x 5 1/4" (save the pieces you trim off)
Adhere to card base.
Cut and emboss leaves from Soft Seafoam and Lost Lagoon cardstock using Embossing Folder and Die.
Cut out leaves from Soft Seafoam cardstock using dies
Zig zag twine on card base and adhere.
Adhere leaves over twine using Dimensionals and Glue Dots.
Cut out label from Basic White cardstock using Die
Stamp sentiment on left end using Lost Lagoon ink.
Trim off excess label using Paper Snips and adhere to card base
Adhere Textured Dots.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut one of the pieces you trimmed off of Fluid 100 Water colour background to 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to right side of Basic White cardstock
Adhere to inside of card.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options - in person or by mail.

In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.

By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.

The August kit will use the Filled With Cheer Stamp Set - a new Online Exclusive!

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.
