International Crafter Video Hop - Celebration Card
Today I'm participating in the International Crafters Video Hop. Each month we create a project with a video and share on YouTube with links to the other projects in the Video Hop. You can check out all of the videos by clicking on the links below. This month our theme is "Celebration".
I used the Layers of Beauty Bundle to make this pretty Anniversary card. I love the layered masks that Stampin' Up! has in the Annual Catalogue. There is a stamp that you can use for this image, but how pretty is this. when you just use the masks to add the colour without stamping. So soft and subtle - makes me feel like an artist!

Instructions
- Cut Basic Black cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Lay Basic White cardstock on Grid Paper and adhere with a post it note or Washi Tape and draw lines around corners
- Lay on Mask #4 (I use this one because it is the largest image so I make sure it fits on the cardstock) in centre of Basic White cardstock lining up with marked lines for corners. Mark the notch - I usually have this in the bottom left corner.
- Starting with Mask #1 - use Blending Brush to add Pretty in Pink
- Change to Mask #2 and add Petunia Pop with Blending Brush
- Change to Mask #3 and add Peach Pie with Blending Brush
- Change to Mask #4 and add Soft Seafoam with Blending Brush
- Change to Mask #3 and add Soft Seafoam with Blending Brush - press harder to get darker colour
- Cut out using Die
- Cut out 2 leaves and 2 sprigs from Petunia Pop cardstock
- Wrap ribbon around bottom and tie a small bow on left side
- Adhere flower image to card base using Dimensionals
- Adhere sprigs behind flower using Glue Dots
- Stamp sentiment on Petunia Pop cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
- Cut out using Paper Snips
- Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
- Adhere embellishments
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Stamp small flower in bottom right corner.

Techniques Across the Border
Join Lorraine and I and learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am Pacific. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.
Class Costs and Dates:
- Saturday, June 23 - 1:30pm Pacific - Embossing
- You need Embossing Powder and Versamark for this class - Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $45 before shipping and taxes
Registration for each class closes on the last Wednesday of the month.
If you can't join the class live, you will get a copy of the recorded video.
Triple Your Creativity
Join Lorraine and I for our new Triple Your Creativity Club! We're starting in June. Here's how it works:
- Each club lasts for 3 months
- Each month for 3 months you will receive a Stampin' Up! products plus a Make and Take Kit (including everything you need to make 4 cards) with PDF tutorial.
