Festive Friday Challenge - 4th of July

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This week’s challenge FF #162 - 4th of July

I live in Canada so we celebrate Canada Day on July 1st and don't celebrate July 4th. I decided to make a card featuring the fun Attention Shoppers Bundle from the 2024-2025 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue for my project. I used white, blue and a celebratory sentiment from the Inspo List.

It's a fun fold with a peekaboo opening. So easy to make!

Instructions

Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline to form card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4".
Adhere to card base with adhesive around outside only - not in the centre of the Designer Series Paper as you will be turning over the Designer Series Paper for the inside of the card.
Use largest circle from Stylish Shapes dies to cut opening in card base. Save pieces.
Cut Crushed Curry Cardstock 1/2" x 2"
Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Cut tag end in right end
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Cut Melon Mambo cardstock 4" x 10 1/2" and score at 5 1/4"
Adhere on the inside of the card.
Remove the Designer Series Paper from the circle you cut in the card base.
Turn over and adhere to the Circle.
Adhere circle to the Melon Mambo cardstock in the opening in the front of the card base.
Cut out cart from Melon Mambo cardstock
Stamp 2 bags and 1 flower bouquet on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Cut out using Dies
Stamp 2 bags and 2 tissue paper and 1 flowers on Designer Series Paper using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Cut out bags, tissue paper, flowers and flower wrapper using Paper Snips
Adhere to stamped images on Basic White cardstock
Adhere shopping card to circle using Glue Dots (rolled up to make smaller).
Adhere shopping bags and flowers in card using Dimensionals.
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Adhere to bottom of Basic White cardstock
Adhere to inside of Melon Mambo card base.

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Join me each month starting in July for my 2024 Christmas Stamp-a-Stack. We'll make 8 cards each month (2 of 4 designs) so you'll have a supply of cards on hand for all occasions.

Cost is $40 (local) or $45 (by mail) each month or free with a minimum of a $45 order (before taxes and shipping).

Two options - in person or by mail.

In Person - class will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 10am.

By mail - Zoom will be held on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 1pm. The class will be recorded and available via YouTube if you can't join the class. You will substitute stamp sets or add the stampset/dies to your order.

Each month there will be an option to purchase the stampset or bundle. Costs will be based on product used.

The July kit will use the Sophisticated Sled Bundle - a new Online Exclusive!

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.
