IDEAS Blog Hop - May 2024 - "Fast and Fabulous"

Our Tutorial has 13 demonstrator designers with over 26+ projects from various countries around the world. The May 2024 IDEAS Tutorial Bundle has detailed instructions, colour photography, and tips. My project in the tutorial features the new Adventurous Sky Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.
Here is a sneak peek of my project, all of the supplies and details for my projects are in our tutorial bundle.
This was a fun technique to create a background using Ink, Water Painters on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Quick and easy to make 2 cards!
My cards are exclusive to the Tutorial Bundle, so if you want to see it, you have to get your hands on the tutorial. Check below for another card I made using scraps from my stash!

Here's another quick and easy technique for you - I used the Split 4 technique to create 2 quick and easy cards from the Stampin' Up! Seaside Wishes Stamp Set.
Instructions
- Cut 2 pieces of Petal Pink cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline to form card bases.
- Cut 2 pieces of Misty Moonlight cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut Basic White cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score in half at 4 1/4"
- Stamp images along score line and around edges using Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink and Crumb Cake ink
- Fill in spaces with smaller images
- Cut the piece in half on scoreline
- Trim both pieces to 3 3/4" x 5"
- Stamp sentiment using Misty Moonlight ink on both pieces
- Adhere to Misty Moonlight cardstock
- Wrap ribbon around to back and adhere
- Cut small piece of ribbon and tuck under ribbon on card and tie a knot.
- Adhere to card base.
- Add embellishments
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Stamp image on Basic White cardstock using Crumb Cake ink
- Adhere to inside of card.

Techniques Across the Border
Join Lorraine and I and learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am Pacific. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.
There are 2 options for each class:
- Option 1 - Class Cost $45 and includes 4 projects and a selection of supplies you need to make the projects
- Option 2 - If you have the products for the technique - Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $45 before shipping and taxes
- Saturday, June 28 - 9:30 - 11:30am Pacific - Embossing
- You need Embossing Powder and Versamark for this class - Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $45 before shipping and taxes
Registration for each class closes on the last Wednesday of the month.
If you can't join the class live, you will get a copy of the recorded video.
Monthly Card Club
I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.
This month the club features the Take to the Sky Suite from the Stampin' Up! 2024-2024 Annual Catalogue. Add the stamp set to your order for an additional $44.76 Add the bundle (stamp set and dies) and your class is free!
You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package Industrial Trinkets and Metal Plate Embossing Folder (can be substitued). Cost is $55 In Person (or local pick up) and $60 mailed or you can get for free without the product above with a minimum $45 order!
You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.
The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.
