I'm back with another casual card for the Casually Crafting Blog Hop. We're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators that love to stamp and love to share. We share card and projects that are simple and easy to create with a few products and are perfect for the beginner and casual stamper. Our blog hop goes live on the third Saturday of each month. I hope you'll join us and "hop" around our group to be inspired!
Today we're sharing a Tic Tac Toe Challenge. These are my favourite type of challenge - there's so many ways to use this. Pick a row in any direction and create a project using the 3 items in the row.
I chose the first vertical row and used embossing, ribbon and purple for my card. Check out the products from the new Perennial Lavender Suite in the upcoming Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue. Isn't it beautiful.
I used a new technique to me to emboss the sentiment in purple! I stamped inVersamark and Gorgeous Grape ink and then sprinkled with clear embossing powder. So easy!
Instructions
- Cut Crumb Cake cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base
- Cut Gorgeous Grape cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5"
- Adhere Designer Series Paper to Gorgeous Grapecardstock
- Adhere to card base
- Ink sentiment using Gorgeous Grape ink
- Re-ink over Gorgeous Grape with Versamark
- Sprinkle with Clear Embossing Powder
- Heat to melt using Heat Tool.
- Cut out using Paper Snips
- Adhere to Gorgeous Grape cardstock using Dimensionals
- Cut out using Paper Snips leaving a shadow of Gorgeous Grape
- Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
- Colour ribbon using Orchid Oasis Stampin' Blends
- Cut in half and tie a bow with 2 pieces
- Adhere to card base using a Glue Dot
- Colour butterfly using Blending Brushes with Crumb Cake and Gorgeous Grape ink
- Adhere to card base
- Adhere Purple Fine Shimmer Gems
- Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
- Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 3 3/4"
- Adhere to bottom of Basic White cardstock
- Adhere to the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club
I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder.
