International Project Highlights Blog Hop - November 2023

I'm excited to participate again in Kylie's Monthly International Blog Highlights for November. My card today features the new Meandering Meadows Suite that is an Online Exclusive available starting on November 7th.

I had fun creating a gatefold card with this suite. The Designer Series Paper is stunning and creates the perfect scene through the arch way. Did you know that the artist at Stampin' Up! that created these beautiful images painted tiny painting for each of the Designer Series Paper scenes? Wow! Makes the paper even more special!

Isn't this a pretty card! I love the bright cheery flowers in the background.

Instructions

Cut Early Espresso cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8". Fold the scorelines in on both sides and burnish with a Bone Folder to form card base.
Lay the arch die on the front evenly spaced on each side of the opening. Hold it in place on one side using Post It Note Tape or Washi Tape or a Post It Note.
Open the card up fully and cut the arch.
Once cut, close the other flap up and hold the die in place using Post It Note Tape or Washi Tape or a Post It Note.
Remove the Post It Note Tape or Washi Tape or a Post It Note from the side that was cut.
Open the card up fully and cut the other side of the arch.
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to the inside of the card
Cut Early Espresso cardstock 1 1/4" x 8 1/2"
Fold around card base to form Belly Band with seam/opening in front.
Cut Designer Series Paper 1" x 4"
Adhere across Belly Band
Cut 2 fences using Die from Very Vanilla cardstock
Distress using Crumb Cake ink in using Blending Brush
Adhere to Belly Band and trim off excess
Cut grass using Die from Mossy Meadow cardstock
Cut into small pieces and adhere to left and right side of Belly Band
Stamp watering can on Very Vanilla cardstock using Early Espresso ink
Colour using Early Espresso and Crumb Cake Markers or Stampin' Blends
Adhere to Belly Band using a Dimensionals
Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock using Early Espresso ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to top left of arch
Adhere embellishments
Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp watering can on Very Vanilla cardstock using Early Espresso ink
Adhere to back of the card
