International Highlights Winners Blog Hop - October 2023

I’m so excited to be featured in the the International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci. I was selected to participate in this hop by finishing in the top 10 in the October 2023 International Highlights. Thank you to everyone who voted for my Translucent Floral Card.

My card today was created on a recent sketch challenge. I love the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper and decided it should be the star of the show. Join me on Tuesdays at 2pm Pacific each week for a new sketch.

Here's the sketch I used for this card.

Now for my card. I added an extra layer to my card with the Designer Series Paper. That layer is 3" x 4 1/4". Pretty in Blueberry Bushel.

Instructions

Cut Blueberry Bushel 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline to form card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Stamp frame around Basic White cardstock using Blueberry Bushel ink
Adhere to card base
Cut Designer Series Paper 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Adhere to the centre of the card base
Cut Basic White cardstock 3/4" x 3 1/4"
Stamp sentiment using Blueberry Bushel ink
Trim ends at an angle
Cut 11" of ribbon and zig zag behind sentiment
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Flat Pearls to card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp image in bottom right corner using Blueberry Bushel ink
Adhere to the inside of the card
