International Highlights Blog Hop - October 2023

I'm excited to participate again in Kylie's Monthly International Blog Highlights for October. My card today features the Translucent Floral Bundle along with the coordinating Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper.

I decided to create my own Designer Series Paper from this gorgeous paper by cutting strips and adhering them to Basic White cardstock. I really like the shutter effect that it created. Add some vellum flowers and I think this turned out beautiful!

Instructions

Cut Berry Burst cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on card base using Bone Folder to form card base.
Stamp stems around outside of card base using Berry Burst ink
Cut rectangle using 2nd largest Deckled Rectangle Die from Basic White cardstock
Cut Basic White cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Cut 1/4" x 6" strips of Designer Series Paper
Adhere alternating to Basic White rectangle
Cut rectangle using 3rd largest Deckled Rectangle Die from stripedDesigner Series Paper
Adhere to larger Deckled Rectangle
Wrap gold ribbon around rectangle and tie a bow on right side
Adhere to card base
Colour the back of Vellum cardstock using Light and Dark Berry Burst Stampin' Blends
Cut out 1 large flower and 1 small flower from Vellum
Cut out 2 centres from Calypso Coral cardstock
Cut out 2 large leaves and 2 smaller leaves from Soft Seafoam cardstock
Adhere flowers together using Glue Dots
Adhere centres to flowers using Glue Dots
Adhere to card base in bottom left corner using Dimensional
Adhere leaves behind flowers using Glue Dots
Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 2"
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Berry Burst ink
Adhere to card base using Mini Dimensionals
Adhere Petal Pink Blooming Pearls
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4 1/4"
Adhere to left side of Basic White cardstock
Adhere to the inside of the card.
