I had fun playing with the Hello Kiwi on today's card. Don't these kiwis look yummy! I created this card on a recent sketch challenge. Join me at 2pm Pacific each Tuesday for a new sketch. Here's the sketch I used for my card.

The two step stamping for this stamp set makes it so easy to create different kinds of fruit. I love kiwi so that was my choice to the card. It reminds me of the kiwi trees that grew in a neighbours yard in New Westminster, BC. The squirrels got most of the fruit - it was fun to watch them running through the yard with a big kiwi in their mouths!

I added a pop of Poppy Parade to my card - love the colour combination!

Instructions

Cut Granny Apple Green cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Emboss using Exposed Brick Embossing Folder
Adhere to card base
Cut Poppy Parade cardstock 3 1/8" x 4 1/8" (this was added on the live and isn't in the sketch measurements)
Cut Basic White cardstock 3" x 4"
Stamp outline of Kiwi using Old Olive ink around cardstock
Stamp inside of Kiwi using Granny Apple Green ink stamped off
Adhere to Poppy Parade cardstock
Adhere to card base
Cut Poppy Parade cardstock 1" x 3"
Adhere across middle of cardstock
Punch circle from Basic White cardstock using 1 3/4" Circle Punch
Punch circle from Granny Apple Green cardstock using 2" Circle Punch
Stamp sentiment on Basic White Circle using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Stamp spatter on sentiment using Granny Apple Green ink
Adhere to the Granny Apple circle
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp kiwi in bottom right corner using Old Olive ink and Granny Apple Green ink stamped off
Adhere to the inside of the card
Adhere Parakeet Party Pearls to card front.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
