Creativity Abounds Blog Hop - August 2023 - Fun Folds
Time for another Creativity Abounds Blog Hop! We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire you to make creations of your own. You may be starting here or you may have come from someone else's blog - either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed - so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin' Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin' Up!® teams.

This month we are sharing projects featuring Fun Folds. Always a fun blog hop to participate in!
Check out my double flap fold card featuring the Let's Go Fishing Suite from the Annual Catalogue. I originally saw this card on Lisa Curcio's Blog and knew I had to try it!

Instructions
- Cut Mossy Meadow 4 1/4" x 8 1/4" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
- Cut Designer Series Paper (Pattern 1) 2 1/2" x 4" and adhere to the top flap of the card base.
- Cut Mossy Meadow cardstock 2 3/4" x 4"
- Cut Basic White cardstock 2 5/'8" x 3 7/8" and adhere to Mossy Meadow cardstock
- Cut Designer Series Paper (Pattern 2) 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" and adhere to the Basic White cardstock
- Adhere to the top flap of the card so it is centred on the card base
- Cut Designer Series Paper (Pattern 1) 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the inside of the card base
- Cut Mossy Meadow cardstock 3 1/4" x 10" and score at 5". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder.
- Adhere to the inside of the card centred on card base.
- Cut 2 pieces of Basic White cardstock 3 1/8" x 4 7/8".
- Emboss one piece of Basic White using Twisted Rope Embossing Folder
- Adhere to the from of the small card base on the inside of the card
- Stamp sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink and a fish in Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat (stamped off) ink
- Adhere to the inside of the small card base
- Cut Basic White cardstock 1 1/4" x 2"
- Stamp sentiment in Wild Wheat ink
- Cut 6-8" of Wild Wheat Jute and pull part into 3 strands
- Adhere 1 or 2 strands to centre of Designer Series Paper on card front
- Adhere sentiment over Jute using Dimensionals
- Stamp a fish and 2 hooks using Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat ink on Basic White cardstock
- Cut out using Dies
- Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
- Adhere Wild Wheat In Color Dots.

Monthly Card Club
I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
This month the club features the All About Autumn Suite from the new catalogue. Add the bundle to your order for $76.50 plus shipping and taxes.
You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.
The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
