Technique Tuesday Blog Hop - Vintage - July 2023

It's time for another Technique Tuesday Blog Hop and I'm hopping with Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. This month the theme is Vintage. I had fun with this technique and couldn't resist sharing the new One Horse Open Sleigh Suite which is an Online Exclusive that will be available on July 6th.

When I saw this suite I immediately thought "vintage". I pulled out my crinkled paper and distressing for this card. What do you think? Is it vintage?

Instructions

Cut Pool Party cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline to form card base.
Cut Early Espresso cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5"
Scrunch up the Designer Series Paper.
Smooth out the Designer Series Paper a little
Use the Blending Brush to distress the edges and wrinkles with Crumb Cake ink
Adhere to the Early Espresso cardstock using Tear & Tape Adhesive
Wrap Crumb Cake Twine around left side 3 times and tie a bow.
Adhere to the card base.
Stamp horse and sleigh using Early Espresso ink on Crumb Cake cardstock
Cut out using Die
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Cut out rungs and edge of sleigh from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper using Dies
Adhere to sleigh
Stamp sentiment on Crumb Cake cardstock using Early Espresso ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere Sparkle Gems
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp sentiment using Early Espresso ink
Adhere to the inside of the card.
