Emboss Resist with Inked & Tiled Stamp Set

One of my favourite techniques is "emboss resist". It's so easy to do and I always think it's a bit of a "wow" technique. I made this card on a recent Live. I share a Technique live on Facebook and YouTube on Wednesdays at 2pm Pacific. Come join me!

The Inked & Tiled Stamp Set has some amazing flower and leaf images. This card was so easy - I inked up Basic White cardstock using Versamark and then sprinkled with White Embossing Powder. Once the powder melted and cooled, I used my Blending Brush to apply Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock ink. So easy! Don't you love it?

Instructions

Cut Pretty Peacock cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Lost Lagoon cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Emboss using Fern Embossing Folder
Adhere to card base.
Cut Pretty Peacock cardstock 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Cut Basic White cardstock 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"
Stamp leaf image using Versamark on Basic White cardstock
Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder
Heat to melt using Heat Tool
Let cool and then apply Lost Lagoon ink using Blending Brush
Apply Pretty Peacock ink using Blending Brush
Adhere to Pretty Peacock cardstock
Adhere to card base at an angle using Dimensionals
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Pretty Peacock ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Pretty Peacock Sequins
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp lined image using Pretty Peacock ink
Adhere to the inside of the card
Tap Wink of Stella on front of card to give splatter effect
Let dry.
