International Highlights Winners Blog Hop - June 2023
I’m so excited to be featured in the the International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci. I was selected to participate in this hop by finishing in the top 10 in the June 2023 International Highlights. Thank you to everyone who voted for my Countryside Inn Thank You card.
Today I'm sharing a pretty card featuring the Darling Details Bundle. When I saw the dies for this bundle, I was hooked. How amazing is it that you can weave ribbon into one of the dies.
Isn't this card so pretty in Lemon Lolly and Lost Lagoon on a white embossed background. I love it when a card comes together.
Instructions
- Cut Basic White cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Emboss using the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder
- Cut scalloped edge die from Lemon Lolly cardstock
- Weave ribbon through cardstock and adhere to the back
- Adhere to the embossed cardstock about 1/4" from left edge
- Adhere to the card base.
- Cut out detail flowers from Lemon Lolly cardstock
- Cut out 2 sprigs from Basic White cardstock
- Stamp 2 flowers on Basic White cardstock using Lemon Lolly ink
- Cut out using Die
- Stamp 2 sprigs on Basic White cardstock using Lost Lagoon ink
- Cut out using Die
- Stamp 2 stems on Basic White cardstock using Lost Lagoon ink
- Cut out using Die
- Stamp 2 sprigs on Basic White cardstock using Lost Lagoon ink
- Cut out using Die
- Adhere white sprigs and Lemon Lolly die cut using Glue Dots
- Adhere Lost Lagoon stems and sprigs using Glue Dots
- Adhere stamped flowers over stems using Dimensionals
- Adhere Lemon Lolly Solid Gems
- Stamp flower on inside of card using Lemon Lolly ink in bottom right corner.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
