I added a new bundle to my stash recently - On The Ocean from the Stampin' Up! January to April Mini Catalogue. I had been seeing such cute cards made with this bundle so couldn't help but get it. Does that ever happen to you? I can't believe I'm the only one!

Check out this fun card that uses the dies from the bundle to create a scene with a fun pirate ship. Lots of fun to make.

Instructions

Cut Night of Navy cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Balmy Blue cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Tear a strip off a scrap of cardstock about 4 1/2" long.
Lay the strip on the bottom of the Basic White cardstock and use Blending Brush to blend Balmy Blue ink over strip. Move the strip and repeat multiple times to add background waves
Cut 2 pieces of Balmy Blue cardstock 1"x 4 1/4"
Cut 2 waves from Balmy Blue cardstock using Dies
Cut hull of boat using die from Crumb Cake cardstock
Add distress using Blending Brush and Crumb Cake ink
Cut sails from Basic White cardstock using Dies
Add distress using Blending Brush and Crumb Cake ink
Adhere hull to card base
Adhere sails with mast to hull
Adhere sails using Dimensionals slightly offset
Stamp birds using Night of Navy ink
Adhere to Balmy Blue cardstock
Adhere to card base.
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Night of Navy ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to card base using dimensionals
Adhere Rustic Metallic Dots
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Stamp waves on bottom using Night of Navy in
Stamp wheel using Crumb Cake ink
Adhere to inside of card

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
