Festive Friday #133 - National Eat What You Want Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project.  We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.


This week’s challenge FF #133 - National Eat What You Want Day

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge  At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. Check out this fun card featuring the Stampin' Up! Share a Milkshake card.  So pretty in Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet.  I used die cutting, gingham and food sentiment (I might have cheated a little bit for this one - but I thought "sweeter" fit).  I love this bundle and am excited that it is carrying over to the upcoming Stampin' Up! 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue.


Instructions

  1. Cut Crumb Cake cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base
  3. Cut Sweet Sorbet cardstock 3" x 4"
  4. Cut Basic White cardstock 2 3/4" x 3 3/4"
  5. Cut grid from Crumb Cake cardstock using Die
  6. Adhere to Basic White cardstock on an angle
  7. Adhere to Sweet Sorbet cardstock
  8. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
  9. Stamp glass using Crumb Cake ink stamped off on Basic White cardstock
  10. Stamp detail on glass using Sweet Sorbet.
  11. Cut out using Die
  12. Adhere to Basic White cardstock using Dimensionals.
  13. Stamp topping using Petal Pink ink on Basic White cardstock
  14. Cut out using Die
  15. Stamp stripes for straw on Basic White cardstock using Petal Pink ink
  16. Cut out using Die
  17. Tuck in slit and adhere to back using Dimensionals.
  18. Adhere to top of glass using Dimensionals.
  19. Stamp cherry on Basic White cardstock using Sweet Sorbet ink
  20. Cut out using Die
  21. Adhere to topping using Glue Dot
  22. Adhere on
  23. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Sweet Sorbet ink
  24. Cut out using Paper Snips
  25. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
  26. Adhere embellishments
  27. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  28. Stamp hearts in bottom right corner using Sweet Sorbet ink
  29. Adhere to inside of card

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail.  Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.  You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder.  Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

You can join my club monthly.  If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm.  Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
