International Highlights Winners Blog Hop - March 2023

Today I'm sharing a beautiful card I created using the new Tropical Leaf Bundle from the Stampin' Up! March Online Exclusives. These new products are only available in my Online Store. I'm loving the Tropical Leaf Bundle - it has the Monstera Leaf (thanks Nancy for telling me the name) which is so pretty! I'm also a sucker for punches! I combined the bundle with the Split Card Textures Dies to make this pretty card. I love how it turned out!

Instructions
- Cut Mossy Meadow cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
- Cut Distressed Gold Specialty Paper 4" x 5 1/4"
- Adhere to card base
- Cut Laying Vellum 3 3/4" x 5" and cut using Split Card Texture Die
- Adhere to the card base by applying a thin layer of Liquid Glue using a Sponge Dauber.
- Stamp 2 large leaves - 1 in Sahara Sand and the other in Pear Pizzazz
- Stamp veins using Mossy Meadow ink
- Punch out
- Stamp small leaf using Old Olive
- Stamp veins using Mossy Meadow ink
- Cut out using Paper Snips
- Cut largest circle using Stylish Shapes Dies from Mossy Meadow cardstock
- Wrap ribbon around palm of hand 3-4 times. Pull off and pinch together
- Adhere to bottom left side of card base
- Adhere circle over ribbon using Dimensionals
- Adhere leaves to circle using Dimensionals
- Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Pear Pizzazz ink.
- Cut out using Paper Snips
- Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Stamp leaf in bottom right corner using Pear Pizzazz ink
- Stamp veins using Mossy Meadow ink
- Adhere to inside of card.

Monthly Card Club
I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.
The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).

ReplyDeleteThe sketch was first. I do a live sketch challenge every Tuesday at 6:30pm Pacific and always start with the sketch.
