Let's Set Sail Bendi Card

I created this fun Bendi fold card featuring the Stampin' Up! Let's Set Sail Bundle for World Card Making Day. I had fun creating a sailing scene for my husband's birthday card. If you follow me, you may know that we sailed for many years in the Canadian Gulf Island on the West Coast. We don't have a boat any more, but we both still remember the fun we had.
Isn't this a fun card!
Instructions
- Cut Pacific Point cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and score at 2 3/4"
- Cut 2 pieces of Balmy Blue cardstock 2 5/8" x 4 1/8"
- Cut 2 pieces of Basic White cardstock 2 1/2" x 4"
- Stamp sun on one piece of Basic White cardstock using So Saffron ink
- Stamp birds on both pieces of Basic White cardstock using Smoky Slate ink.
- Adhere to Balmy Blue cardstock
- Adhere to Pacific Point cardbase.
- Cut palm tree from Basic Black cardstock
- Adhere to the left hand side and trim as needed
- Cut Pacific Point cardstock 2"x43/4" and score at 1/2", 2 3/8"and 41/4"
- Cut 2 pieces Balmy Blue cardstock 1 3/4"x17/8"
- Cut a template using Cloud border from Basic Border Dies from Basic White cardstock
- Turn the clouds upside down and use as a mask to create waves using Balmy Blue ink and Pacific Point in and a Blending Brush
- Adhere to the Pacific Point cardstock
- Fold the 2 out side flaps back and adhere to cardbase about1/2" from bottom and aligned with centre scoreline using Tear & Tape adhesive.
- Cut Pacific Point cardstock 1 1/4"x61/2"and score at 1/2"and6"
- Apply Tear & Tape adhesive to the side flaps and adhere to cardbase lined up with edges and bottom
- Cut Balmy Blue cardstock 1"x51/2"
- Use the wave mask to create waves on the Balmy Blue cardstock using Balmy Blue ink and Pacific Point ink with a Blending Brush
- Adhere to the Pacific Point band.
- Stamp sail boat on Basic White cardstock using Pacific Point ink for the sails and Crumb Cake ink for boat
- Stamp sail boat on Basic White cardstock using Balmy Blue ink for the sails and Crumb Cake ink for boat
- Punch both boats out
- Adhere to the bottom band
- Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Pacific Point ink
- Cut out using Paper Snips
- Adhere to the middle layer using Dimensionals.
- Adhere embellishments

Monthly Card Club
I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.
The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
