International Highlights Winners Blog Hop - Lighthouse Point

I’m so excited to be featured in the the International Highlights Top Ten Winners Blog Hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci. I was selected to participate in this hop by finishing in the top ten in the October 2022 International Highlights. Thank you to everyone who voted for my Splendid Day Card.
Today I'm sharing a fun card I created using the Stampin' Up! Lighthouse Point bundle. I live on the West Coast of Canada and couldn't resist adding a light house to my collection. When I travel on the ferry to the Mainland, I pass by Entrance Island Lighthouse and am always fascinated by it. Seems very romantic to think about living at a lighthouse!
Isn't this a pretty place!

Instructions
- Cut Gray Granite cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold on score line to form card base
- Cut rectangle from Basic White cardstock using 2nd largest Deckled Rectangle Die
- Stamp rocks on bottom using Gray Granite ink.
- Use Blending Brush with Balmy Blue Ink and Tahitian Tide to create a sky
- Stamp plants using Soft Succulent ink.
- Stamp birds in sky using Gray Granite ink
- Adhere to the card base
- Cut out lighthouse using Die from Basic White cardstock
- Cut out 2 rays of light using Die from Daffodil Delight
- Cut background for lighthouse from Cherry Cobbler
- Adhere to the back of the lighthouse.
- Adhere a small piece of Basic White cardstock to fit behind lights.
- Colour using Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.
- Adhere the rays of light to the back coloured piece
- Adhere to the back of the light house.
- Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals.
- Stamp sentiment using Soft Succulent ink on Basic White cardstock
- Cut out using Die
- Adhere to card base
- Tie a small bow from Gray Granite Twine
- Adhere to card base
- Adhere Rustic Metallic Dots
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Stamp plants image in bottom right corner using Soft Succulent ink
- Adhere to the inside of the card

Monthly Card Club
I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
