Demonstrator Training Blog Hop - Customer Thank You - October 2022
I'm excited to be training with Bruno and Kylie again this year and participating in our monthly Blog Hop with amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. The purpose of the group is for the group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators that are part of the program...to share ideas and to learn from each other...to help us in our Stampin' Up! Business. Our theme for our blog hop each month is "Thank You" and I've created these beautiful cards using the Twisted Ribbon technique. Thanks Liane Binder for sharing this during a recent Canada Inks Up! Team Meeting.
My cards feature the beautiful Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! Splendid Day. Such beautiful paper, it's hard to choose a favourite! I think it's the Gray Granite one but they are all so pretty!
Instructions
- Cut cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on score line to form card base. I used Gray Granite, Soft Seafoam, Calypso Coral and Fresh Freesia for my card bases.
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Stamp sentiment in bottom right corner using to match cardstock.
- Adhere to the card base.
- Cut Basic White cardstock 2" x 4"
- Use a ruler and pencil to mark the Basic White cardstock at 1/2" intervals down the 4" sides.
- Cut strips of Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 3"
- Start with 1 pattern and adhere Designer Series Paper from top left corner to first pencil mark at 1/2" on the right side of paper
- Repeat all the way down the Basic White cardstock using the same pattern of Designer Series Paper.
- With the other pattern, adhere the strip from the top right corner to the 1/2" mark on the left side of the cardstock. This will fill in the gap between the 2 strips of Pattern 1.
- Trim off excess DSP strips
- Adhere to card base about 1" from left edge
- Cut 2 pieces of cardstock (same colour as base) 1/8" x 4" and adhere to each side of the Designer Series Paper piece.
- Adhere embellishments
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Adhere to the inside of the card
