Storybook Gnomes - so adorable!!
Have you seen the Storybook Gnomes Suite in the July to December Mini Catalogue? So adorable! My card features the Stampin' Up! Kindest Gnomes Bundle. I love this entire suite! Those gnomes are so adorable, who could resist!
I created this card as part of my weekly Sketch Challenge. I love to use Designer Series Paper and two different patterns are featured on this card. In fact, when you cut the DSP for this card, you end up with enough for 2 cards! How perfect is that!
First, here's the sketch I used.
Now, here's my card. Like I said, so adorable!
Instructions
- Cut Coastal Cabana cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold on score line to form card base.
- Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and then cut on the diagonal from top right to bottom left
- Adhere one triangle piece to the top left of the card base and the other triangle to the bottom right of the card base. Save the other 2 pieces for a second card
- Cut out the stitched circle using the 2nd largest die from the Stylish Shapes Dies from Poppy Parade cardstock
- Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals.
- Stamp gnome on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Colour with Stampin' Blends - Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake and Bermuda Bay
- Cut out using Die
- Adhere Wonderful Snowflake to circle using a Glue Dot.
- Adhere gnome to circle using Dimensionals.
- Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Coastal Cabana ink
- Cut out using Die
- Adhere to card base
- Adhere embellishments
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4"
- Adhere to bottom of Basic White cardstock
- Adhere to inside of card.

Monthly Card Club
Starting in October, you will be able to join my Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
You can join my club monthly. If you join for 6 consecutive months and get a swag bag valued at $25 from me as a gift.
The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
