Stamping With Friends - Masking Techniques with Eden's Garden

Welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop as we share what projects we are currently working on to inspire you! You will be visiting with our Design Team Members as they share their wonderful projects and ideas to help spark your creativity. This time our theme is Masking Techniques.

I used Masking Paper on my card to create the banner in the middle and stamped the images above and below. This is such a fun technique. My card features Eden's Garden - so pretty in Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party! How wouldn't want to receive this bright and cheery card!

Instructions

Cut Orchid Oasis card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold on score line to form card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base.
Cut Basic White card stock 3 3/4" x 5"
Cut Masking Paper 1 1/4" x 5" and gently adhere to the middle of the Basic White card stock. Do not press down firmly or you will have trouble pulling the Masking Paper off
Stamp images above and below Masking Paper using Orchid Oasis Ink and Parakeet Party ink
Gently pull off the Masking Paper.
Stamp sentiment in the space using Parakeet Party Ink
Wrap 2 strands of ribbon around Basic White piece and tie a bow on left side
Adhere embellishments
Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4".
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4" and adhere to the Basic White card stock piece
Stamp images in Parakeet Party ink - stamp 2 - one full strength and one stamped off
Adhere to the inside of the card
