Demonstrator Blog Hop - August 2022
I'm excited to be training with Bruno and Kylie again this year and participating in our monthly Blog Hop with amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. The purpose of the group is for the group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators that are part of the program...to share ideas and to learn from each other...to help us in our Stampin' Up! Business.
My card features the Floating Strips technique. I created a 12" x 12" piece of the floating strips and then cut to size to make 12 of these cards for my thank you cards this month! Place an order with me in August and you will receive one of these beauties by mail! It is such a fun technique!
Instructions
- Cut Rich Razzleberry card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold on score line to form card base
- Cut Blushing Bride card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut strips of Designer Paper 1/2" x 12" and adhere them to a 12" x 12" Window Sheet so that they are approximately 1/8" apart. Use your grid paper as a guide so you get the strips adhere straight.
- Cut the window sheet into 3" x 4" pieces. You will use one of these pieces for each card.
- Adhere Dimensionals or Adhesive Foam Strips under each DSP strip on the Window Sheet
- Cut Basic White cardstock 3" x 4" and adhere strips to this piece
- Adhere to the Blushing Bride card stock
- Adhere to the card base.
- Stamp "Sending" sentiment on Basic White card stock using Rich Razzleberry ink
- Cut out using die or Paper Snips
- Adhere to card base.
- Stamp "Thanks" sentiment from larger sentiment by masking off part of the sentiment before inking your stamp. Remove mask and stamp on Basic White card stock.
- Cut out sentiment using Paper Snips and adhere to card base.
- Adhere Iridescent Rhinestones
- Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut DSP strip 1/2" x 4"
- Adhere to Basic White card stock
- Adhere to inside of card.
