It's time for another Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. This month we're focusing on the Take Your Pick Tool! This is my must have tool next to my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. I have about 5 of these - on my desk and next to my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. I used it for everything from getting the little bits out of die cuts to picking up embellishments to getting Mini Dimensionals off of the sheet!

Check out this pretty card I made using the Blossoms in Bloom I created for a recent Mystery Challenge on my Social Media. If you want my YouTube Video, you'll get lots of tips and ideas for using the Take Your Pick Tool!

Instructions

Cut Balmy Blue card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold on score line to form card base.
Cut Basic White card stock 4"x 5 1/4"
Stamp flower image using Balmy Blue Ink
Cut Misty Moonlight card stock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
Cut Adhesive Sheet 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and adhere to the back of the Misty Moonlight card stock.
Cut out flower die from Misty Moonlight card stock
Pull of backing from adhesive sheet using your Take Your Pick Tool and apply to stamped flower image.
Adhere to the card base.
Stamp sentiment using Misty Moonlight ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to Misty Moonlight card stock cut 5/8" x 3" with tag ends cut on both ends using Mini Dimensionals.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Colour rhinestones using Dark Balmy Blue Stampin' Blend.
Use Take Your Pick Tool to remove from sheet and adhere to card base.
Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp small flowers and centres in Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue
Adhere to inside of card.

Tutorial Bundle for the Ukraine

In response to the ongoing crisis, the Creativity Abounds Team has decided to create a Ukraine Fundraising Card Making Tutorial Bundle.

Who Are we?

The Creativity Abounds Design Team is a group of 13 Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world. We come together every month to create a Tutorial Bundle, hold a blog hop and also host regular online Stamp Camps.

All 13 members of the Creativity Abounds Design Team quickly expressed their interest in helping to bring together this special, additional Tutorial Bundle. As this newsletter is sent, work is underway around the world to get cards designed and tutorials written and compiled.

We didn’t want to wait to start raising money though, because this is timely and help is needed now. Therefore the bundle is up for sale now. You can start to order and pay for yours and the tutorial will follow as quickly as we can bring it together. We envision it will be with you by the week beginning 21st March!

The theme for the projects is blue/yellow. I am excited to see what ideas everyone comes up with. I know they are all going to inspire you in your card making – and of course you will be able to change the colour of the projects to suit other occasions.

All the proceeds from the sale of these tutorials will be donated to the International Committee of the Red Cross as a contribution from the crafting community to the work they are carrying out with the people of Ukraine.
