Flowing Flowers - Make your own Designer Series Paper

One of my favourite techniques is creating my own Designer Series Paper using stamps and ink. I had fun with the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set creating pretty DSP in Petal Pink and Basic Gray

It's so easy! Just stamp images randomly on Basic White or Very Vanilla card stock. For my card today I stamped a focal image using Basic Gray ink and then stamped smaller images randomly. Using my Stampin' Blends I created splatter! Isn't this pretty!

Instructions

Cut Basic Gray card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold on score line to create card base.
Cut Petal Pink card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White card stock 3 3/4" x 5"
Stamp focal image on righthand side using Basic Gray ink.
Stamp smaller images randomly around focal image using Basic Gray and Petal Pink ink (stamped off)
Use the brush end of a Stampin' Blend and rub against the cap to create a splatter.
Stamp sentiment using Basic Gray Ink
Adhere to Petal Pink card stock
Wrap ribbon around card stock and tie a bow on the left hand side.
Adhere to card base.
Adhere Elegant Faceted Gems
Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp image in top right using Petal Pink ink
Adhere to the inside of the card.

Tutorial Bundle for the Ukraine

In response to the ongoing crisis, the Creativity Abounds Team has decided to create a Ukraine Fundraising Card Making Tutorial Bundle.

Who Are we?

The Creativity Abounds Design Team is a group of 13 Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world. We come together every month to create a Tutorial Bundle, hold a blog hop and also host regular online Stamp Camps.

All 13 members of the Creativity Abounds Design Team quickly expressed their interest in helping to bring together this special, additional Tutorial Bundle. As this newsletter is sent, work is underway around the world to get cards designed and tutorials written and compiled.

We didn’t want to wait to start raising money though, because this is timely and help is needed now. Therefore the bundle is up for sale now. You can start to order and pay for yours and the tutorial will follow as quickly as we can bring it together. We envision it will be with you by the week beginning 21st March!

The theme for the projects is blue/yellow. I am excited to see what ideas everyone comes up with. I know they are all going to inspire you in your card making – and of course you will be able to change the colour of the projects to suit other occasions.

All the proceeds from the sale of these tutorials will be donated to the International Committee of the Red Cross as a contribution from the crafting community to the work they are carrying out with the people of Ukraine.
