Cardstock Blog Hop
Time for a Blog Hop featuring the amazing selection of Card Stock from Stampin' Up! Wow! There are so many colours to choose from! We're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and are sharing projects that show off the card stock in lots of different ways! I hope you'll take time to "hop" through all of the amazing projects.
My card today features one of the retiring In Colors - Cinnamon Cider. I made this card on a recent sketch challenge. I'm going to miss Cinnamon Cider, but there are some amazing new colours coming in with the 2022-2024 In Colors! Check them out! Starry Night, Parakeet Party, Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide and Orchid Oasis. Which is your favourite?
Here's my card and the sketch it was based on.
Instructions
- Cut Cinnamon Cider card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold on score line to form card base.
- Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" (this will make 2 cards)
- Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4" (this will make 2 cards)
- Lay the Designer Series Paper on the Basic White card stock and cut the pieces in half on and angle.
- Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the card base.
- Stamp image on Basic White card stock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Stamp insides of image using Cinnamon Cider ink, Garden Green ink and Pool Party ink.
- Stamp sentiment on left hand side using Cinnamon Cider ink
- Adhere the Basic White card stock to the card base butted up to the Designer Series Paper.
- Cut Cinnamon Cider card stock 1/4" x 6"
- Adhere to the card base along the seam. Trim
- Adhere Genial Gems.
- Cut Basic White card stock 4" x 5 1/4'
- Stamp image in bottom right corner using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Stamp image using Cinnamon Cider ink.
