Creativity Abounds - March 2022 - Spring Theme
Welcome to our Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire you to make creations of your own. You may be starting here or you may have come from someone else's blog - either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed - so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin' Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin' Up!® teams.
Here's our amazing Creativity Abounds Design Team!
This month our theme is Spring Themed cards! I've used the Stampin' Up!® Flowering Fields Suite for my card and in my favourite colour combination of Petal Pink and Poppy Parade! Definitely makes me feel like spring! How about you? My card is an envelope front card - thanks to Lorraine Tierney for the idea!
Instructions
- Cut Petal Pink card stock 5 1/2" 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4"
- Cut Poppy Parade card stock 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" and adhere to card base
- Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to card base.
- Cut Basic White card stock 5 1/4" x 7 1/4" and score at 4 1/8"
- Use the Basic Border Die to cut a point on the small flap - make a mark at 2 5/8 along the 5 1/4" side and then place the point of the die on that mark. Cut to make the envelope flap shape
- Adhere to the card base with the large flap adhered to the inside of the card.
- Cut out pieces from Designer Series Paper to make 3 tulips and put together. See my YouTube video for instructions on how to put the tulips together.
- Stamp 3 stems using Evening Evergreen ink on the envelope flap.
- Stamp leaf using Evening Evergreen ink on a scrap of Basic White card stock and cut out using Die.
- Adhere to the stems using a Dimensional.
- Adhere tulips to stems using Dimensionals.
- Tie a small bow from ribbon and adhere to card base.
- Adhere 3 butterflies.
- Cut scalloped circle from Poppy Parade card stock using 3rd smallest scalloped circle die.
- Stamp sentiment using Poppy Parade ink on Basic White card stock and cut using 3rd smallest circle die.
- Adhere circles together using Dimensionals.
- Adhere to card base using Dimensionals so that the envelope flap tucks underneath to stay closed.
- Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 5 1/2"
- Adhere to the inside of the card.
Now it's time to be inspired by all of the amazing cards in our Blog Hop!
I hope we have inspired you!
